Training for Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) on OSHA Trenching & Excavation (Subpart P).

Topics included soil classification and analysis, protective systems, trench hazard recognition, spoil pile placement, access and egress requirements, inspections, and Competent Person responsibilities. Understanding these critical requirements helps ensure excavation work is performed safely while protecting workers from one of the construction industry’s most serious hazards.

Thank you to CDOT for the opportunity to train and support the professionals building and maintaining Colorado’s transportation infrastructure.

Please welcome Retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Russell Weber to the Safety Inc. team!

Russell brings more than 20 years of distinguished military service and leadership experience to our organization. During his Air Force career, he most recently served as Operational Medicine Flight Chief at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico—27th Special Operations Wing, whose motto is “Holding the Steadfast Line.”

Throughout his service, Russell held several key leadership positions, including Senior Enlisted Leader for the 27th Special Operations Medical Readiness Squadron and Non-Commissioned Officer In-Charge of the COVID-19 Quarantine Facility at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, in support of Operations INHERENT RESOLVE and FREEDOM SENTINEL. In these roles, he led high-performing teams while overseeing medical readiness programs, operational planning, quality assurance initiatives, and critical public health operations.

Following his retirement from the Air Force, Russell returned to his home state of Colorado, where he continues to grow professionally while spending well-deserved time with his wife Danielle and enjoying the great outdoors on the western slope.

Russell’s proven leadership, operational expertise, and commitment to excellence make him a tremendous addition to the Safety Inc. family. We are excited to have him on board and look forward to the impact he will make in the field and classroom.

Please join us in welcoming Russell to the Safety, Inc. team!

Supporting clients with a last minute confined space entry need at the Colorado Mesa University campus. A leak was detected in this vault located on the rugby field which needed to be fixed asap. Call was initiated on a Friday, all necessary, contractual documentation insurance, and permitting was completed with entry and project completion by noon Monday saving these clients valuable time, money, and resources.

Bringing real-world safety training directly to the field—because the people we serve are part of our communities.

At Safety, Inc., we’re proud to support our local oil & gas operators and energy partners with Hydrogen Sulfide (H₂S) training, along with integrated respiratory protection programs and SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) training with hands-on competency demonstrations.

We work alongside client response teams, reinforcing readiness through practical, on-site training in the environments they operate in every day.

Because for us, this work is personal. We’re not just training crews—we’re supporting our neighbors, our friends, and the families that make up the communities we live and work in.

From respirator fit testing to real-world application of equipment, we ensure teams are prepared, confident, and ready when it matters most.

By delivering these services directly in the field, we provide custom, operation-specific solutions that help our clients:
