This Pride Month, Imperial recognizes the importance of clinical research that reflects the health needs of the LGBTQ+ community. LGBTQ+ populations have often been underrepresented in clinical trials, creating gaps in data and limiting how care is developed and delivered. We support sponsors and CROs as they work to close those gaps by helping ensure materials, logistics, and site support are aligned with the populations the studies are meant to serve.

Our role is to support research that expands participation and improves the quality of the data it produces. remains a reminder that stronger representation leads to better insight and more informed care.

Imperial recognizes and the role our industry plays in the environmental impact of clinical trials. Sustainability is no longer a separate initiative. It continues to show up in operational decisions, from material sourcing to production and logistics, in a way that aligns with today’s environmental responsibility expectations.

At Imperial, we are fully committed to sustainability, and this commitment earned us our second Bronze medal from the global benchmarking firm EcoVadis. Read our blog post for more information about sustainability and Imperial’s rating: https://hubs.la/Q04k0HHP0

Designing clinical trial materials is not about accuracy alone. It also requires understanding how people process and revisit information. As we age, reading patterns often shift. When materials don’t support re-entry and orientation, even accurate information can become harder to navigate.

In our latest blog post, we explore how thoughtful writing and design can help older participants navigate study materials with confidence. Read the full post here: https://hubs.la/Q04jL1_g0

Older participants process information differently. Learn how clear writing & design can improve clinical trial understanding and confidence.

James Lind’s 18th-century shipboard experiment is often cited as the starting point for randomized controlled clinical trials as we know them today, and it's particularly relevant as we celebrate Clinical Trials Day. The setting wasn’t a clinic, but the structure of his work feels surprisingly familiar to modern research teams.

For Clinical Trials Day, we revisited Lind’s study and reimagined what his protocol and criteria might look like today. It’s a short, light piece that connects the past to the work happening across our industry now. Read our blog here: https://hubs.la/Q04hlbPC0

Discover how an 18th century shipboard experiment was the first randomized clinical trial and early milestone of evidence-based practice.

Ancillary supplies and equipment are getting much more attention across clinical trial supply teams, and this is changing how clinical studies are planned and executed. At this year’s GCSG North American meeting, the conversations around ownership, definitions, and the global movement of non-drug materials were louder and more consistent than in past years.

In our latest blog, Dan McDonald examines why ancillaries are moving from background noise to a real point of focus, and what that shift means for sponsors, CROs, and supply teams. Read the full post here: https://hubs.la/Q04h6xs30

Discover how ancillary supplies are becoming a more focused part of clinical trial planning due to their impact on study timelines.

During Melanoma and Skin Cancer Awareness Month, Imperial recognizes the sponsors, researchers, and study participants who make oncology research possible. Together, your commitment helps continue to drive progress in oncology and expand options for patients. We appreciate your dedication to every study that advances science and shapes the future of patient care.

Remember that early detection of skin cancer is vital. Identifying new, changing, or unusual moles or lesions early and seeking treatment can significantly improve outcomes and survival rates.

To reduce the risk of skin cancer, the American Academy of Dermatology and other health organizations recommend avoiding unprotected sun exposure and tanning beds.
