As technology continues to advance, scammers are finding new ways to target individuals, making fraud more common and increasingly difficult to identify. Adults aged 60 and older are cited by the FBI and the National Cybersecurity Alliance as the group most frequently targeted and suffering the greatest financial losses due to fraud.

Brio Living Services announces that its Avenues program is heading to the Lakeshore! Effective September 2026, Avenues by Brio Living Services is bringing its unique services to Holland, Grand Haven, Spring Lake, and other lakeshore area communities.

The only program of its kind in West Michigan and one of just three statewide, Avenues by Brio Living Services is a Continuing Care at Home program, focusing on health and wellness and providing navigation services for its members to remain living independently in their own home as they age.

Brio Living Services and its Huron Valley PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) program in Ypsilanti recently announced that a second Huron Valley PACE Day Center site in Monroe, Michigan was approved by CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) on July 16.

Recently, Independent Living and Enhanced Living residents at Porter Hills Village enjoyed a special lunch with the construction crew! 🌭🍦 Thanks to our construction partner, EV Construction, residents and team members gathered for hot dogs, ice cream, and great conversation while celebrating the exciting progress of our campus expansion. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the people helping bring our vision to life.

A partnership between Brio Living Services and a local ambulance company is reducing unnecessary emergency department visits, improving resident outcomes and satisfaction, and avoiding costs tied to a trip to the hospital.

Brio Living Services recently launched its Community Paramedic program in two western Michigan communities to provide professional in-home care for residents who have urgent health needs but don’t need to go to the emergency department.

Chuck and Carol Jennings, Cook Valley Estates residents, have a long connection with Brio Living Services. Their parents lived at Porter Hills Village, and Chuck devoted 30+ years of service to the governing and Foundation Boards. They continue to volunteer as members of the Live Life with Brio Campaign Cabinet, demonstrating their commitment through their actions, gifts, and their estate planning as members of the Foundation’s Legacy Society.
