The 44 bed hospital has a Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics unit, Intensive Care Unit, and Women's Health & Birth unit as well as a surgery center and comprehensive imaging and laboratory services. Grand Itasca is the largest employer in the area, employing 700+ people. The 183,000 square foot facility is located on 76 scenic acres along the Mississippi River.

Sports physicals are required every 3 years for students in grades 7–12 and help ensure they're healthy and ready for the season ahead. Taking care of this requirement early helps ensure your student athlete has the time needed to complete any necessary forms, receive clearance, and be ready to hit the field, court, or course when the season begins.

100 robotic-assisted total knee replacement surgeries! 🤖🎉

Our Surgical Services team recently gathered to celebrate an exciting achievement alongside the ROSA®️ Knee System. Since the first robotic-assisted knee replacement procedure in May of 2025, Dr. Rother has completed 100 total knee replacement surgeries using ROSA technology at Fairview Grand Itasca. This accomplishment reflects the skill, collaboration, and commitment of our entire surgical team to bringing advanced orthopedic care to our community.

Congratulations to Dr. Rother and everyone in Surgical Services for reaching this incredible milestone. Here's to the next 100! 👏

Grand Itasca Volunteer Services was recognized in May by Memorial Blood Centers in the Top Sponsor category for helping collect over 250 units of blood products in 2025. 🩸❤️

This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to hosting blood drives year-round to support the growing need for blood in our region. All donations are collected onsite by community members and Fairview Grand Itasca employees.

Our family is forever thankful for every staff member who was there for us during such a special moment as we welcomed our little girl.”
