The number on the scale doesn’t tell the whole story.
You can lose weight without knowing whether you’re losing fat or muscle. You can also make meaningful progress in your health and fitness while the number on the scale barely changes.
That’s one reason I like looking at body composition, not just body weight.
An InBody scan gives you a closer look at:
Skeletal muscle mass
Body fat percentage
Visceral fat
How muscle is distributed throughout your body
Changes in body composition over time
It can be a helpful way to establish a baseline and track what’s actually changing as you work on your nutrition, exercise, strength, or metabolic health.
And you do not have to be a patient at Direct Primary Care of West Michigan to get one.
InBody scans are available to nonmembers for $25.
