A new client review from earlier today...

"My experience with Mike Zimmer was excellent. I was running behind, but he immediately made me feel at ease and never once made me feel like a burden. The entire experience was professional, welcoming, and inclusive. It truly felt like a safe space, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for compassionate and professional care."

We pride ourselves on taking the best care possible of our clients.

To say that Saturday's Miles For Mental Health 5k went well would absolutely be an understatement. It was just an amazing day, and highlighted by this group of individuals who all accomplished their goal of completing the 5K after 12 tough weeks of training. Along the way they formed bonds and relationships with each other that will hopefully last a lifetime. Equally as important, they all learned just how vital physical activity and movement is to our mental health.

But the event wouldn't have been the success that it was without the help of our sponsors. So, from the bottom of our heart, and on behalf of our partners at Still I Run, thank you to the following organizations for your support!

MSU Federal Credit Union
Wedgwood Christian Services
The Center for Physical Rehabilitation
BVW Property Management
Overhead Door Company of Grand Rapids
LMCU Ballpark
Grand Rapids Rowing Club

Just a small smattering of pics from the first ever Miles For Mental Health 5k, which happened earlier today. If you weren’t there, you missed a great race. We had an amazing turnout, and the energy and vibes this morning were simply amazing.

This race would not have happened if it wasn’t for our incredible partners at Still I Run. Sasha Wolff and Holly Cipriani-Bell did a phenomenal job over these past several months of helping plan and prepare for this event. Our success is really because of them.

We are just so lucky to have Still I Run in our community. They are perfect partners for us at The Well Being as they are a community minded, non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping people begin moving their bodies to improve their mental health.

We share the same goal, and I believe today we had an impact.

Keep an eye out for the Miles For Mental Health 5k in 2027. It’s an event you won’t want to miss!

We would like to reiterate what our friends at The Mitten Brewing Co. said in their post from yesterday...that nothing compares to actually being at the Westside Wiffleball Classic. But we believe this video does a pretty good job of capturing the energy and fun of this event!

We at The Well Being would also like to give special thanks to Fans of Valley Field, Rockford Construction, The City of Grand Rapids, and our event sponsors, Lewandoski's Market, Chulski Salt Service, Greenline Sports Turf Solutions, and Dawdy Realty Group. Your contributions this year were vital to this event, and we can not thank you enough for your support!

Can't wait for next year when we are playing on the brand new Sullivan Field!

Today is the day of our 5th annual "Westside Wiffle Ball Classic", benefiting non-profits The Well Being Foundation and Mitten Foundation, Inc... It's been a great event, enjoyed by many people, and one we look forward to co-hosting with the good people at the The Mitten Brewing Co. for years to come.

What we're most looking forward to is the return of the historic Sullivan Field (aka Valley Field) to it's glory days. If you come to the tournament tonight, you will see all of the work being done by Rockford Construction. The reconstruction is happening, and they are right in the thick of it.

We are, along with so many other people, excited for this West Side gem to shine brightly again.

But the main purpose of this post is to express the tremendous gratitude and appreciation we have for Paul Soltysiak and everyone at Fans of Valley Field, because if it weren't for their tireless efforts over the past 3, 4, 5 years, Sullivan Field would just be an historic, old West Side ballpark that is falling apart and in danger of taking it's memories with it.

Paul and everyone else at Fans of Valley Field raised over $5,000,000 in order to save the old ball park, and they deserve every ounce of credit and praise they receive.

So, on behalf of all of us involved with the Westside Wiffle Ball Classic, we can not thank you enough. And, we can not wait to host our tournament next year inside what's going to be an absolutely incredible ball park.

Thank you.
