Midwifery is a tradition built on trust. Women should be nurtured, respected, and supported in their choices throughout their pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum period. Pregnancy and birth are normal and natural life events. Homebirth has been proven to be a safe option for healthy women. Each woman has unique needs and desires, so I strive to individualize my services to best meet them.

They have walked alongside me through pregnancy, delivery, miscarriage and postpartum struggles, all with the deepest level of care for me and my family. There’s no one I’d rather have walk me through this special time. Molly is so knowledgeable, yet never forcing her opinion. She presents you with the information/research in an easy to understand fashion, and then allows you to form your own opinion on what is best for you. Molly has years of experience as a midwife, and while she takes tremendous pride in her work, she is always humble enough to refer a mom out if the home birth route is no longer the safest option for her or baby.

Today we celebrate the arrival of a very loved little one. This sweet family welcomed their baby after a journey that didn't unfold the way any of us had hoped, but it unfolded exactly as it needed to.

This mama approached every decision with incredible strength, wisdom, and grace. Together, we patiently explored every safe and appropriate option, honoring her hopes while always keeping the well-being of both mother and baby at the center of every choice.

When it became clear that birth was asking for a different path, she met that moment with remarkable courage. Her birth ended in a cesarean, but it was not a failure. It was a thoughtful, supported decision that brought her safely to her baby.

One of the greatest misconceptions about midwifery is that it's about home birth at all costs. It isn't. Supporting physiologic birth and recognizing when birth needs a different course are both hallmarks of good midwifery. Sometimes we don't get all of the answers about why birth unfolds the way it does. But we can be grateful for healthy outcomes, compassionate care, and the privilege of walking this journey together.

Congratulations to this beautiful family. We couldn't be happier for you, and it has been an honor to be part of your story.

Weekly recap: We put on over 600 miles this last week with home visits and a birth. We Put together birth kits and waterbirth kits that will now be available for purchase in the office. Our Postpartum Herbal Bath has been restocked. We are awaiting an order of supplements to add to our shelves. We are now only waiting on one last baby to arrive until September! Midwifery assistant trainings are scheduled and we still have space for another assistant. Let us know if you are interested in joining our team!

“Molly and her team at Heart to Heart have taken amazing care of me and my family. I experienced a very redemptive homebirth with my second child, after having a slightly traumatic hospital birth with my first. Molly explained things through the entire journey in a way that kept me informed while respecting my decisions. Her entire team is/was a steady presence that made me feel confident in their skills without being overpowering. My husband was hesitant to have a homebirth, but after experiencing it he's fascinated by how smooth the process was and praises the practice of midwifery. Will definitely be seeking out Molly's care again if we have another child!”
