☀️UPDATE: Sound Bath at So Hum Summer Solstice Celebration June 21☀️

Hello, beautiful souls - as we start a new week, I have 2 quick updates about my involvement at So Hum Yoga Studio’s So Hum Summer Solstice Celebration at Millennium Park in Grand Rapids, MI, this Sunday:

☀️ The 60-minute sound bath I’ll be facilitating during the event’s opening ceremony will begin at approximately 12:00 pm, one hour later than the previously promoted start time of 11:00 am. The opening ceremony and salutations begin at 10:00 am with my sound bath immediately following. It has just been estimated that the salutations should take about 2 hours to complete leading into my sound bath around noon. (Please note: you do not need to participate in the salutations to join the sound bath; there will be time in between).

☀️ I will no longer be offering 1:1 Tuning Fork Therapy sessions from 1:00-4:00 pm at the event. Due to no pre-event sign ups so far, I’ve made the decision to instead spend more time with my family for Father’s Day. But, there will still be many other amazingly gifted wellness practitioners onsite offering healing sessions so you can still leave the event feeling renewed and restored! ☀️ Sound Bath + Tuning Fork Therapy at So Hum Summer Solstice Celebration☀️

You’re invited to join me in celebrating the longest day of the year with So Hum Yoga Studio during the So Hum Summer Solstice Celebration June 21 at Millennium Park and Beach’s Grant Pavilion in Grand Rapids, MI, where I have the honor of offering a restorative 60-minute sound bath as part of the event’s opening ceremony. The ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. with 108 guided Sun Salutations that any attendee can join with the sound bath immediately following. It’s difficult to predict how long the salutations will take to complete, but the sound bath should begin around 11:00 a.m. (please note you do not have to participate in the salutations to participate in the sound bath).

I was fortunate today to enjoy a beautiful first visit to WN Holistic Center., owned and operated by Holistic & Spiritual Coach Wilmer Nadin. Nestled in the hustle and bustle of Division Ave in Kentwood, MI, Wilmer offers a wide variety of crystals, jewelry, literature, candles, Essential Oils, incense, and much more. Wilmer and I have been following and supporting each other on social media for some time now, but today the Universe finally brought us face-to-face and it was such a pleasure being around his magnetic energy and love for his practice, community, storefront, and services (tarot, shamanic ceremonies, crystal healing, and more). Originally from Venezuela, Wilmer has been exposed to and worked in the metaphysical and holistic health profession his entire life, so he is a local expert who’s worth knowing. We enjoyed learning more about each other’s backgrounds, healing practices, and families, and he even generously let me play my handpan in his store as a thank you for his amazing hospitality.

☀️ Sound Baths at Boochie: A Candlelit Summer Solstice Sound Journey - June 20 ☀️

The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year, offering us a sacred opportunity to pause and focus on releasing what’s no longer serving us across mind, body, and soul so we can welcome a new season of life with greater capacity, clarity, and alignment.

On June 20, the day before the Solstice, the Sound Baths at Boochie series at Boochie - Kombucha and Wellness Bar offers you that sacred opportunity to pause, reflect, and release by listening to restorative and healing sounds, frequencies, and vibrations. During this 60-minute sound bath, you’ll be gently cradled by the calming aura of 100+ candles while you simply listen to sounds, frequencies, and vibrations produced by my instruments, like crystal singing bowls and my gong named Sunny, that have the power to shift your brainwaves into a deeply relaxed state. As I’m sure many current fathers can attest, I didn’t understand when beginning my parenting journey just how much your kids can reveal to you all the parts of you that still need to heal. We’re officially 1 month away from Sound Baths & Bouquets July 2026 on July 11 💐 Last July, 24 beautiful souls joined me and Marissa Brower, owner of Brower’s Flowers, for an afternoon of fellowship, bouquet building, and frequencies during our inaugural event.

Every time I drive out to Brower’s Flowers, the serene scenery instantly strips away the hustle and bustle of daily life, as if bringing me back to a more natural state of being. And I like to think it accomplished that for our guests that day as well. I felt nothing but high vibrations as everyone creatively crafted their own unique blend of seasonal blooms under Marissa’s guidance and the summer ☀️. Mother Nature even followed us into the barn during the sound bath as the birds and wind harmonized with my instruments as if to bless the sonic journey. We had attendees all the way from Ohio to help celebrate a birthday, some who experienced their first sound bath, and one who even shared she finally felt true peace and calm during the sound bath.

“I don’t want to go back to work now.”

I always love the passing comments I overhear from sound bath attendees after a session. This was my favorite reflection I overheard this morning from an employee of Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids after I facilitated 3, back-to-back mini sound baths at the non-profit’s headquarters in Grandville for their Health Fair.

Thanks to my career background in marketing and communications that I’m still in today in addition to this practice, I understand the stress of the daily grind, tight deadlines, meetings that could’ve been an email, and lack of energy at the end of the day when it’s time to check in with family, friends, and activities/practices/hobbies that fill your soul. For that reason, it’s always a privilege to enter a workplace and offer a relaxing and restorative sound healing experience for employees during their work day. And it also makes me feel grateful for leadership that values employee wellness enough to invite an experience like this into their workplace.

My private sound bath experiences for work teams support employee wellness, reduce stress, and improve focus. These immersive experiences use sound, vibration, and frequencies to regulate the nervous system and bring a sense of calm, clarity, and unity to your team. Sound baths are a natural fit for corporate wellness programs, leadership retreats, off-site meetings, appreciation weeks, holiday gatherings, and team-building events as breaks to decompress and reset and then return to work with greater presence.
