💜 June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month 💜
This month, we come together to recognize and support the millions of individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
In home health care, we see every day how memory loss impacts more than just the individual—it touches spouses, children, caregivers, and entire families. Simple routines can become challenging, and familiar moments can feel confusing. But with the right support, compassion, and consistency, people living with dementia can continue to experience dignity, comfort, and connection at home.
Ways we support brain health and memory care:
💜 Encouraging familiar routines and environments
💜 Providing patient, consistent caregiving
💜 Supporting medication reminders and daily tasks
💜 Creating safe, calm, and structured home settings
💜 Offering respite and guidance for family caregivers
We also want to encourage everyone to support their own brain health:
🧠 Stay socially engaged
🧠 Keep your mind active with reading, puzzles, or learning
🧠 Prioritize sleep, movement, and nutrition
🧠 Don’t ignore memory or cognitive changes—talk to a provider early
If you or a loved one needs support at home, we’re here to help. 💜
