A SIX-WEEK BOOK DISCUSSION

ON OUR BEST BEHAVIOR: THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS AND THE PRICE WOMEN PAY TO BE GOOD.

As women, we’ve been culturally programmedj to obey rules represented by the seven deadly sins - and in how doing so we qualify as “good.” On Our Best Behavior explores how women have internalized the web of the patriarchy, and how we unwittingly reinforce it in our collective consciousness through our socialization, cultural conditioning and domestication.

I’m Leah Grace, I’ve been leading women’s groups for 16 years, engaging in a deep study of feminism for the past 5. Despite years of experience, I am consistently shocked at how I am still conditioned to the contracts of the patriarchy that I live within. This book organizes and explains the web we live in better than any I have found.

My hope is that this series helps you see with more clarity so that together we can take action towards liberation for all. Over the course of six weeks, we will unpack each “sin” with the first riveting chapter about the inception of patriarchy and how it constricts a woman’s experience in this world.

Let’s unpack these chapters together and engage in discussion to liberate and empower. The most rewarding aspect of my work with women is to watch YOU step into your own power. To witness YOU untangle yourself from the web of the patriarchy. To see YOU reclaim your personal liberation from the constraints that have been present since before you were born. To cheer YOU on as you turn towards your personal TRUTH!

🎒 I’m off….see you on the other side.

🙏 Oh, and please send some prayers. After a potent 3-day medicine ceremony I am headed out on my first Vision Quest. 4 nights fasting, sitting with nature, letting the earth hold me and initiate me deeper into my calling.

🪶The premise of this medicine is alone, empty, and exposed. No food, no stimulation, no shelter.

🌲 I’ve been afraid of this since I first heard about it as a teenager knowing someday I would be called. Here we go skipping and screaming, and so ready for what is in store for me.
