Here's a quick self-assessment most people have never done:
How long does it take you to fall asleep?
If you're out in under 5 minutes, you're not a "good sleeper" — you're sleep-deprived. A well-rested person takes about 10 to 15 minutes to fall asleep.
If it takes over 30 minutes, your sleep drive or routine needs work.
The sweet spot — 10 to 15 minutes — means your body is tired enough to sleep but not so exhausted that it crashes the moment you're horizontal.
This one data point tells you more about your sleep health than any wearable.
