Just a little light reading🤣. I am starting on module 3 of 5 today after taking July to catch my breath and give my brain a break from the great expansion.

Im thinking about starting a vlog, because the way I process best is outwardly, and I think it would give me something cool to revisit a few years down the road when im reflecting on this journey.

I got to go to a suture training today with some East Texas midwives and it was a blast! I left feeling much more confident in my ability to repair tears for mommas in the future. We also had a little bit of practice with acupuncture specific for suturing and that was. . . interesting!🙃

A busy prenatal day on the eve of 250th birthday calls for a little pzazz and a filter, cause yall know I got wrinkles and bags under my eyes😅 Happy 4th of July, be safe!

I am 5 months into this journey and learning SO much that some days my brain hurts. Ive turned in my second module and I am in phase 2, doing more prenatally which is exciting and also intimidating! It isnt lost on me the grace that is extended by the women and families that invite and allow me into their care. Without them, I would not be able to move forward and I am extremely grateful! Im reminding myself daily that this is a marathon, not a sprint and that the Lord is leading me and I can trust Him and His perfect timing.
Also, today it hit grey matter that we are now seeing clients with due dates in 2027 and that blows my mind, because how are we almost half way through this year?🫠🙃

Definitely worth the time it takes to practice during your pregnancy so that its like muscle memory when you are in labor and needing to put all of your energy into bringing your baby earthside! These are great suggestions!
