Yesterday, the Heartlinks team gathered for our annual All Staff Celebration at the Heartlinks Adult Family Home in Sunnyside.

The afternoon was filled with good food, laughter, team activities, and time to connect with the incredible people who make our mission possible every day. Team members also had the opportunity to explore our growing Therapy Garden and celebrate the impact we're making together across our communities.

We are grateful for each member of the Heartlinks family and the compassion, dedication, and care they bring to patients and families every day. Heartlinks is what it is because of this team. 💜

Andrea still remembers the kindness and dignity her father received while on hospice with Heartlinks. In one of the hardest seasons of her life, our team helped her family feel supported, informed, and cared for every step of the way.

That experience inspired her to preserve her father’s legacy in a meaningful way, helping ensure future families can receive the same compassionate care.

Through our partnership with FreeWill, creating your will is free, secure, and can be completed in about 20 minutes.

Because a legacy of compassion can live on for generations.

Two weeks ago, Heartlinks welcomed new and returning volunteers for volunteer orientation.

We’re so grateful for the people who choose to give their time to support our mission in so many different ways. While some volunteers provide companionship and support to hospice patients and families, others help behind the scenes in our offices or serve at our Hobs thrift stores, helping every purchase support compassionate care in our community.

Volunteering is a meaningful way to give back, connect with others, and make a difference right here in our community. 💜
Heartlinks offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, and we’d love to help you find the right fit.

When Andrea’s father was on hospice with Heartlinks, our team helped bring comfort, dignity, and peace to his final days.

She remembers the compassion our nurses showed not only to her dad, but to her entire family, explaining every step, easing his pain, and helping him pass peacefully.

In the midst of loss, Andrea realized something else: compassion can continue long after someone is gone.

By creating her will through FreeWill, she found a meaningful way to honor her father’s legacy and help future families receive the same care and comfort her family experienced.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. ❤️🤍💙
We also hold close the families, friends, and loved ones who carry their memory forward each day.

At Heartlinks, we are reminded often of the importance of remembrance, connection, and honoring the lives that shape our communities and our stories. Today, we reflect with gratitude for the sacrifices made for the freedoms we share.

Please note, our administrative offices are closed today, but you can reach a nurse 24/7 by calling 509-837-1676.

That’s why the Caregiver Conference hosted by Heartlinks and Healthy Ages was designed with two dedicated tracks; one for professional caregivers seeking CE credits and one for family caregivers looking for support, connection, and encouragement 💜

Join us May 19 in Yakima for a day focused on caring for the caregivers.

Today we’re celebrating World Facilities Management Day 💜
At Heartlinks, this work is carried by one very important person: Rey, our Facilities Coordinator.

Rey is the one making sure our offices and Hobs thrift store locations are safe, comfortable, welcoming, and running smoothly each day. From the small fixes you might never notice to the bigger maintenance projects that keep everything functioning behind the scenes, his work supports our staff, volunteers, shoppers, and the communities we serve.

Thank you, Rey, for the care and dedication you bring to Heartlinks every day 💜
