Over the past couple of days, we’ve had to say a “see you later” to someone who has been a big part of Syringa for the past 17 years, Nathan Winder, PA-C.

You’ve probably seen Nathan in our Grangeville Walk-In Clinic, at our Kooskia Clinic, or as part of our weight loss management team. Over the years, he’s cared for countless patients, built lasting relationships with patients and families, and become a familiar and valued part of Syringa.

We’re definitely going to miss having Nathan around, but we’re excited for him and his family as they begin this next chapter and get to be closer to family.

Nathan, thank you for 17 years of dedication, hard work, and care for our patients and community. We’re grateful for the time you’ve spent with us and for everything you’ve brought to the Syringa team. You’ll certainly be missed!

We are excited to announce a partnership between Syringa Hospital & Clinics and Idaho Forest Group to support employee health and well-being.

Through this partnership, Syringa's Teresa Soderling, Family Nurse Practitioner, will provide on-site healthcare and wellness visits, making it easier for employees to access the care they need close to work.

Our phones are having a little holiday of their own today.

If you call our clinic right now, you may hear a message saying we're closed for the holiday. We're not sure what holiday our phones think it is, but we're thinking maybe we should join them!

Have you met our Quality crew yet?

Meet the team behind the data, the details, and a lot of the behind-the-scenes work that helps keep Syringa moving!

They spend their days solving problems, finding ways to make things better, and helping keep our hospital and clinics running at their best. Their work might happen behind the scenes, but their impact can be found throughout Syringa.

Yesterday we celebrated Employee Appreciation Day 🎉

We started the day with a caffeine station, had lunch catered by Trails, celebrated employees reaching 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of service, and got to learn a few things about our coworkers during Human Bingo that we may or may not have known before, like who has hidden talents or unusual fears!

We ended the day by delivering appreciation notes throughout the hospital and clinics. The final count? Almost 500 notes of appreciation!

It was a great reminder of just how many incredible people it takes to keep Syringa running. Thank you to the entire team!
