What a fun-filled and busy month we’ve had! Summer is definitely in full swing, and we’ve been making the most of every minute!
One of our big adventures was a trip to the Sky Valley Antique Tractor Show at Bob’s Corn in Snohomish. We had the special treat of touring the grounds by golf cart, watching the tractor parade, and seeing demonstrations of how wheat and hay were harvested and processed years ago. It was such a fun step back in time! A huge thank you to the club and a special shot out to Kay, for making everyone feel so welcome and special. We had a fantastic time!
Back at home, our gardens are absolutely bursting with color! Everything is in full bloom, and the sweet peas smell amazing. There’s nothing quite like spending a beautiful summer day outside enjoying the flowers, sunshine, and good company.
We’ve also loved having friends, families, and grandkids join in the fun! From playing ball and exercising together to simply visiting, laughing, and spending time with one another, these are the moments that make our days extra special.
And we certainly haven’t slowed down! We’ve been busy with scavenger hunts, diamond art, painting, shopping trips, special events, happy hours, karaoke—which has become quite the hit—bingo, Yahtzee, board games, puzzles, fitness classes, and plenty of other activities to keep everyone moving, creating, laughing, and having fun!
Of course, no month would be complete without our special monthly birthday celebration! We love having the chance to celebrate our birthday residents and make their day a little extra special.
Between our adventures, beautiful gardens, family visits, music, games, creativity, exercise, and lots of laughter, there’s never a dull moment around here. We’re soaking up these wonderful summer days and making some pretty great memories along the way!
