Ms. Taryn Hadden, 41, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Friday, May 15, 2026. Though her time here was far too short, the love, laughter, and light she shared with so many will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Taryn’s life on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Hatcher Funeral Home, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, South Carolina 29829. The family will receive friends beginning at noon, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Phillip Napier officiating.

Left to treasure Taryn’s beautiful memory are her mother, Yvonna McIntosh of North Augusta, SC; her Daddy, Dwayne Thomas Hadden (Debra) of Avery, Georgia; her Dad, Mark Joseph Kenny (Lisa) of Springfield, GA; her grandmother, Debra Kenny of Warrenville, SC; her brothers and sister, Shandon Grant Johnson (Courtney) of North Augusta, SC, Tiffany Gail Johnson (Chris) of North Augusta, SC, and Camron Mitchell “Mitch” Hadden (Lawren) of Valdosta, GA; her boys, precious step-sons, Dagan and Mason Scarth, who were the center of her world; her aunts and uncles, Connie “Con Con” Atkins (Jerry), Terry McIntosh (Jean) and Ronnie Hadden (Amy); her cherished nieces and nephews, C.J., lovingly known by Taryn as her “Little Squishy”, Noah, Celynn, Everly, and Ayla; and her beloved dog Hank, who held a very special place in her heart.

Born in Augusta, Georgia, Taryn spent most of her life in the CSRA, where her warm spirit and vibrant personality touched countless lives. She was baptized at Hillview Baptist Church in Graniteville, SC, She loved quiet time reading her bible and spending quiet moments between her and Jesus. She has always had such a strong faith in God's Word.

Taryn found joy in life’s simple treasures. She loved the beach, especially Jekyll Island, where her fascination and love for sea turtles first began. She enjoyed relaxing by the pool, crafting beautiful handmade creations, and hunting for the perfect thrift-store bargain. If there was a hidden gem to be found, Taryn would find it.

She was a devoted New England Patriots fan, a lover of all kinds of music, especially 90s alternative and worship music, and someone who could brighten any room she entered. Though she often joked about her days as a struggling clarinet player, her love for music never faded.

Taryn never met a stranger. Her bright smile, kind heart, and uplifting spirit made people feel instantly comfortable and deeply valued. She loved community traditions, never missing the North Augusta Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee, and Christmas was truly magical to her. A gifted crafter, she poured love into handmaking many of her Christmas gifts, making every holiday even more special for those she loved.


Above all, Taryn loved fiercely and wholeheartedly. Her family, friends, and especially her boys were the greatest joys of her life. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, creativity, laughter, and love that will never be forgotten.

Mrs. Carla Dianne Langley Garvin, 46, of Aiken, SC, beloved soulmate of Terrence Garvin, entered into rest tragically on Friday, May 1, 2026, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

A lifelong resident of the area, she is the daughter of the late Carl D. Langley, Jr. ,and Shirley( the late Gary "Andy") Legate. Carla graduated from South Aiken High School in 1998. She attended Midland Valley High School for her freshman, sophomore, and junior years. She was the owner and operator of Squeaky Clean, a housecleaning service.

A lifelong member of Langley Church of God, where she was a devout Christian who never hesitated to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was always striving to learn more about the teachings of Jesus Christ. Carla always put the needs of her family and friends above those of her own. Without regard to whether she knew you; if you needed something and she was able, you could always count on Carla.

When Carla walked in, her presence alone lit up the room. Earth's loss is Heaven’s gain. Those who are left to mourn can take comfort in knowing that she is now walking the streets of gold with Jesus.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Terrence. Carla is loved and will be missed by her boys, Malikai Dunbar (Kindred), Seth Garvin, Jayden Garvin (Ryleigh), and Noah “Skylar” Garvin. Grandmother, Lois Bradley, her siblings, Tommy Langley, Lisa Legate, Rodney Cooper, Faye Toole, Francis Storey and Ann Williams. Her much loved granddaughters, Skylar Rae Garvin and Willow Grace Dunbar, a special aunt Jeannette Basnight, her mother-in-law, Shelia Garvin Dunbar; brothers and sisters in law; those she loved and cared for as her own: Justice, Journey, and Tamir, along with other loved relatives and countless friends. To know Carla was to love Carla.

Carla is preceded in death by her siblings, Chris Langley Andy Legate Jr. and Don Richardson.

The family will greet friends on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 4 until 8 o’clock at Langley Church of God, 2444 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 3 o’clock at Langley Church of God. Pastors Edward Hardee, Kenny Murphy, and Lorenzo Washington will officiate. Honored to serve as pallbearers are her sons: Malikai Dunbar, Jayden Garvin, Noah Garvin, Seth Garvin, along with Miranda Bowels, and Fred Bulletts. In honoring her wishes, Carla will be cremated following the service.

As most know, Carla loved purple. The family has requested that purple be worn to her Celebration of Life Service.

Mr. Kuniaki Chaconne Miles, age 49, beloved husband of Mrs. Jessica Smoot Miles, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 29, 2026.

He will be remembered for his steady presence, his strong work ethic, and the love he poured into his family and everyday life. A man who took pride in all he did, Kuniaki built his life around dedication to his work, his home, and those he cherished most.

Family and friends are invited to gather in his memory on Wednesday evening, May 5, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, South Carolina. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2026, in the funeral home chapel, officiated by his brother, Mr. Diron Vinson.

Kuniaki leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Audrey Miles Vinson; his children, Dominiquie (Stephanie) Miles, Ka’Nija Tionne Miles Jaelyn Miles, and Kiley Miles; his siblings, Diron (Shameka)Vinson, Chavavos Miles, and Brittany Vinson; and his treasured grandchild, Kessiah.

Kuniaki was born in Augusta, Georgia. He was baptized at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church, where his faith began to take root early in life. Known as a hardworking man in the asphalt industry, he approached every task with determination and pride. Outside of work, he was a passionate Georgia Bulldogs fan, a stylish dresser, someone who found joy in keeping his surroundings neat and orderly, and a gifted cook whose meals brought people together.

Above all, Kuniaki will be remembered for his love for his family, for the simple moments, and for a life lived with quiet strength and care. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Gary Lee Willard, 72, entered into eternal rest on April 22, 2026, reuniting with his beloved wife, Sandra, whom he cherished deeply.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Graniteville, South Carolina.

Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Rearden, as well as his siblings: Reba Howard, Gloria Jean Crocker, Judy Hall, Janie Smith, Johnny Willard, and Charles “Eddie” Willard. Though their absence was felt, he carried their memories with him always.

He leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him close in their hearts: his sons, Gary Lee Willard, Jr. (Brandy) and Gene Willard (Jessica); his brother, Earl B. Willard, Jr.; and his treasured grandchildren, Tyler Willard, Dalton Willard, Kayven Rearden, Kyler Rearden, Carlie Rearden, and Alison Willard. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Greyson Lee Willard, Nathan Jace Willard, Kyzer Brockington, Kinsley Faith, and Gracelynn Busbee, who brought him immense pride and joy.

Born in Aiken County to the late Earl B. and Frances Ellen Willard, Gary was a man who found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Whether he was in the mountains panning for gold, tinkering with small engines, or working on cars and trucks, he approached each hobby with curiosity and skill. Above all, Gary loved sharing what he knew, teaching, guiding, and spending meaningful time with his grandchildren. His family was the center of his world, and the legacy of his love, laughter, and knowledge will live on through them.

He will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by all who knew him.
