The effects of acupuncture are cumulative! ✨
Acupuncture works to return the body to a state of balance, and reminds the body how to heal itself. Each session builds on the previous one, and long-lasting results are achieved over time with consistent treatment. 🌱

Every season has a color associated with it, and green is the color of Springtime! 🌱
The Liver is the organ of Spring. As we enter into the Spring season, we embrace the energy of the Liver. This energy is that of cleansing, movement, growth, and renewal. ✨
The Liver is responsible for the smooth movement of Qi and energy throughout the body. When this movement becomes blocked or stagnant, we often experience emotional symptoms such as frustration, anger, resentment, and depression. We may also get physical symptoms that can manifest as rib and chest pain, headaches, muscle tension, digestive upset, poor sleep, and PMS.

So Spring is the perfect time to work on letting go of negative emotions and resentment.

Here’s some quick tips for cultivating a happy Liver:
🌱Move your body! Stretch, walk, wiggle!
🌱Eat green food! Especially fresh sprouts and leafy greens.
🌱Eat sour foods! Sour tasting foods stimulate the Liver Qi and encourage movement within the body.
