🌙✨ Bingo Night Was a Winner! ✨🌙

Our Encompass After Dark group had a fantastic time at Bingo Night at The Phoodery! Between the great food, community connections, and plenty of laughs, it was an evening filled with fun and excitement.

We’re especially excited to share that two of our participants walked away with gift certificates after winning bingo! 🎉🏆 There’s nothing quite like hearing someone yell “BINGO!” and celebrating together.

These community outings provide opportunities to build friendships, practice social skills, increase confidence, and experience all the amazing things our community has to offer. Seeing participants engage, connect, and celebrate each other’s successes is exactly what Encompass After Dark is all about.

Congratulations to our winners, and thank you to everyone who joined us for a wonderful evening. We can’t wait for our next adventure!

🌙 Introducing Encompass After Dark! 🌙

At Encompass Person-Centered, we understand that not everyone’s schedule allows them to participate in our traditional Day Support Activities (DSA) program. Work schedules, personal commitments, and individual preferences can make daytime participation challenging. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Encompass After Dark—an evening opportunity designed to help more individuals enrolled in Encompass, connect, engage, and experience the best our community has to offer.

While 1:1 supports play an important role in helping individuals achieve their personal goals, group activities provide unique benefits that can’t always be replicated in an individual setting. Group experiences create opportunities to:

✨ Build meaningful friendships and social connections
✨ Learn from peers and share experiences
✨ Develop communication and interpersonal skills
✨ Increase confidence in community settings
✨ Foster a sense of belonging and inclusion
✨ Explore new activities and interests alongside others

One of the things that makes Encompass special is that the people we support help shape our programs. Just as individuals provide input for our DSA calendar, participants will help staff identify community events and activities they would like to attend through Encompass After Dark. By working together, we can continue creating opportunities that reflect individual interests while ensuring access to the many events, activities, and experiences available throughout our community—regardless of the time of day.

Encompass After Dark is about expanding opportunities, building connections, and creating meaningful experiences for individuals whose schedules may not align with traditional daytime programming. We are excited to continue growing community access in ways that are truly person-centered and driven by the people we support.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives protecting the freedoms so many of us experience every day. 🇺🇸

At Encompass, that meaning carries into the work we do daily — supporting the rights, choices, independence, dignity, and voices of the people in our program. The freedom to make choices, build community, express individuality, take risks, explore passions, and live life on your own terms matters deeply to us.

Today we reflect not only on sacrifice, but on the importance of continuing to create spaces where people are respected, empowered, included, and truly seen.

Hope everyone has an amazing and safe time at Boatnik this weekend! 🌊☀️🎡

We supported a crew to check it out and had an absolute blast. From the energy downtown to the community atmosphere, smiles, laughter, snacks, and exploring together — it was such a fun day. We love seeing people out enjoying community events, making memories, and being part of everything Grants Pass has to offer.

Boatnik weekend is one of those hometown traditions that just feels special. 💙

So much energy, so many smiles, and just an all-around great day being part of something bigger in the community. From cheering in the stands to soaking up that perfect spring weather, it was one of those days that reminds us what connection and shared experiences are all about.

There’s something about photography days at Encompass that just hits different 📸

It’s not just about taking pictures—it’s about seeing the world differently. Slowing down. Noticing the small things. Finding your own style, your own angle, your own voice without needing words.

And honestly… people LOVE it.

The excitement when cameras come out, the focus, the creativity, the pride when someone captures a shot they’re proud of—it’s everything we hope for in what we do. It’s connection, confidence, and self-expression all in one.

Participants are learning computer basics, building digital skills, and gaining confidence every week. We are so grateful for opportunities like this that encourage independence, growth, and community connection.

🚨 IMPORTANT LAST MINUTE NOTICE 🚨

We are so sorry for the last-minute notice.

Unfortunately, Caveman Bowl is unable to accommodate our group tomorrow, Wednesday, April 8th, for BOGO Bowling, so we will need to cancel for this week.

We know this is disappointing—Wednesday bowling has become one of our favorite weekly traditions. 🎳

We will be back Wednesday, April 15th, and look forward to seeing everyone then! Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
