Tomorrow I turn 49 — and in my new blog post I share what it’s like to still feel like you’re figuring things out instead of having it all “together.” If you’ve ever expected a magical age where everything clicks, this one’s for you. Hello Facebook friends, I thought I should post this month's newsletter. February News

Groundhog Day I’m not sure how many of you have seen the movie Groundhog Day, but it feels incredibly fitting for what I was inspired to share this month. As many of you know, my daughter and I spent the greater part of 2025 traveling this beautiful land we call the United States of America. One o...

Crossroads Crossroads can be grand turning points or subtle shifts — moments when we feel the pulse of destiny asking, which way will you go? I’ve stood at more forks in the road than I can count — most that led to total reinvention. Sometimes I’ve leapt off the cliff with arms wide open, tr...

Here’s to Bo! ✨🛸

At every stop on this journey, I’ve been met with incredible signs—moments of synchronicity, alignment, and clear messages that I am exactly where I’m meant to be. Each place has offered its own kind of magic: lessons, connections, and confirmations that can’t be explained away. (More on that later…)

But today, I want to honor one of those moments—and one of those souls.

The first person I met when we pulled into our new spot in Orlando was Bo—a lovely man in his mid-70s, standing outside, staring up at the sky.

He looked over at me and said, “Do you see the sky? It’s perfect for seeing UFOs.”

I’ll admit, I braced myself—wondering if he was pulling my leg. But Bo didn’t skip a beat.

“I saw one of those tic-tac UFOs standing right here on a day just like today. You watch that sky. I’m not kidding. You might think I’m crazy, but it’s true. And that’s all I know.”

My whole heart smiled. I told him I believed him. That I’m a medium, and I’ve been visited by several different kinds of extraterrestrial beings. And just like that—we were there. No masks. No judgment. No small talk. Just truth.

It was a beautiful reminder:
✨ Be unfiltered.
✨ Be open.
✨ You never know who will meet you there.

Thank you, Bo, for being exactly who you are.
For looking up.
For speaking your truth.
And for reminding me not to hide mine.

The Beauty of the Manatee 💙🐋

Before we entered the water, we went through a class on manatee etiquette—learning the laws, the do’s and don’ts, and just how sensitive these incredible beings are. We were told they can feel even the slightest stimuli from feet away. I connected with that instantly—as someone deeply attuned to energy, I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed by the invisible.

As we slipped into the frigid waters of Crystal River, I watched as other tour groups eagerly snorkeled around in search of that coveted manatee encounter. And while part of me was excited—especially for my daughter to witness such a rare experience—my heart sank. I could feel how overstimulating and invasive it must be for them.
It reminded me of how I feel in a crowded Costco—drained, surrounded, nowhere to breathe.

While others grouped into semi-circles around the manatees, following them closely, I just… couldn’t. I couldn’t join the crowd. I couldn’t add to that energy.

So I held back.
I sent them love.
I thanked them.
I apologized for our human desperation and curiosity.
I honored them from a distance.

In my quiet, meditative state, something incredible happened—one swam directly to me.

She glided right up and took a breath in front of my face. I froze—not wanting to startle her. Just witnessing. Just being with her. I whispered my gratitude. I was honored.

It was one of the most sacred, soul-affirming moments I’ve experienced.

I do wish we had better ways of interacting with nature—ways that don't feel so much like watching monkeys in a cage or invading someone’s space. We don’t (typically) go around randomly touching strangers, following them, or trying to get their attention. Well… unless it’s a pregnant belly or a child with long, beautiful hair like my daughter’s.

We are interesting creatures, aren’t we?

May we remember that reverence belongs in every encounter—with each other, with animals, with the Earth. 🌍💫

Spirits of New Orleans: My Four Unexpected Encounters

New Orleans is rich with history — and not just in books or buildings. The city’s energy pulses with the presence of those who came before, and during my recent visit, I was met by four distinct spirits. That’s not to say they were the only ones. The energy in New Orleans is thick with the echoes of the past, but these four made themselves known to me.

The first was a woman who passed in 1852. She appeared to me inside the Voodoo Lounge on N Rampart Street, standing near a large circular painting marked with what looked like hash-like symbols. She was furious about its presence, repeating firmly that “it shouldn’t be there.” Her energy was sharp, intrusive, and persistent — not one to be ignored.

The second and third were two little boys sitting casually on the front porch of the Andrew Jackson Hotel on Royal Street. At first glance, they seemed innocent, telling me they were “looking for a mom,” someone pretty, wearing a hat and a dress. But their energy was mischievous — playful, but not entirely pure. When I shared this with our tour guide, he nodded knowingly. The hotel, he explained, used to be a boys' home, and several spirits — especially four boys — are known to linger there. It felt so validating to be around people who didn't question my gifts or my experiences. Sharing what I was receiving felt natural and welcomed.

Our next stop was Jackson Square. I didn’t speak directly with any spirit there, but the moment I approached the threshold, I felt an overwhelming wave of fear — chest tight, breath shallow. It wasn’t mine. It belonged to the lingering energy of trauma and unrest held just outside the gates. The moment I stepped into the square, it lifted, like passing through a veil. It was a powerful reminder of just how alive energy truly is — how thresholds hold memory.

My fourth encounter was by far the most charming: a man who introduced himself as Slim Harpo. He beamed with pride over his 45 “Sittin' Here Wonderin',” but was frustrated that his “best stuff” wasn’t more widely acknowledged. “They got the wrong tracks in that museum,” he told me, “but it’s still good to see folks remembered.” His spirit was warm and vibrant, deeply proud, yet craving deeper recognition. I found myself wanting to talk to him more — to hear the rest of his story.

I know spirit never truly dies — it lingers in the places it loved, the moments it left unfinished, and the stories still waiting to be told. In New Orleans, those stories whisper from the shadows, ride the wind through the alleyways, and echo in the music drifting through the Quarter.

I feel honored to have been a witness, a listener, and in some small way, a voice for the unseen. These spirits weren’t just apparitions — they were people with lives, memories, and emotions that still pulse beneath the surface of this vibrant city.

As I left New Orleans, I carried more than just memories — I carried conversations that transcended time, and a deeper reverence for the way energy weaves through past and present. I can still feel them with me — especially Harpo. Maybe our conversation isn’t over yet.
