Cindy began her career in January 1985, and for more than four decades, she has provided skilled care, comfort, and compassion during some of the most challenging moments in people’s lives.

Thank you, Cindy, for your many years of service, your professionalism, and calm presence have made a lasting difference in the lives of countless patients, families, and coworkers.

Congratulations on your retirement and this exciting new chapter with Ed! You both are greatly missed. May the years ahead bring you health, happiness, and many wonderful adventures.

Progress is underway!
Installation of the new MRI Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system is in progress. This critical infrastructure will provide reliable backup power to help protect our MRI equipment, minimize downtime, and support uninterrupted patient care.

Every step brings us closer to expanding access to advanced diagnostic imaging for our community.

Introducing Chris Spencer, our new Chief Information Officer. Chris is a technology strategy and cybersecurity executive with more than 15 years of experience leading IT operations and digital transformation across healthcare and Department of Defense environments.
An Army veteran and longtime rural healthcare professional, Chris was drawn to Cibola General Hospital by the opportunity to address our technology needs and help move the organization forward. His strong work ethic was forged during his military service and continues to shape his life today, including starting each morning early with a workout. Chris finds purpose in work that is bigger than himself and is committed to making a meaningful difference in our organization and community.
A lifelong learner, Chris enjoys exploring emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, developing new skills, and mastering new recipes in the kitchen. Outside of work, he also expresses his creativity as a singer-songwriter. Chris is especially grateful for his wife, whose love and support have been instrumental throughout his journey. Together, they enjoy cooking, traveling, and discovering new things. As Chris shares, “Without her support and love, I would not be the man I am today.”
