"I came in because my back was killing me and I was tired of popping ibuprofen every day. Wasn't really expecting much, if I'm being honest.
But after a few weeks I noticed I wasn't waking up stiff anymore. My back still bothers me on occasion, but it's manageable now. I can actually bend down to tie my kids' shoes without groaning like an old man.

My wife has been bringing our children here too, and that's been cool. You're not sitting around waiting to feel better, they actually explain what's happening and why which is different than most chiropractors I've seen. That made a difference for me because I needed to understand it wasn't just some quick fix.

If you're dealing with chronic pain and thinking it's just part of life now, it doesn't have to be."

What are the scans we do in our office that makes our office different?

Let's get into it πŸ‘‡

Every hard workout, every cold morning you dragged yourself out of bed anyway, every trip to a new place, every hard conversation you leaned into instead of avoided, those are not just character building moments. They are literally stress inputs your nervous system has to respond to, process, and recover from.

The question is never whether stress is present. It always is. The question is how well your system is adapting to it.

This is one of the reasons we love what our INSiGHT scans actually show us!

HRV (heart rate variability) is essentially your body's adaptability score. It tells us how efficiently your nervous system is shifting between effort and recovery, between challenge and calm. Not based on how you feel, but based on what your physiology is actually doing.

A well-adapted nervous system bounces. It rises to the hard thing and then comes back down. It handles the long flight and the big week and the heavy lift and still has something left. A system stuck in chronic stress patterns does the same hard things but never quite comes back down. And over time, that becomes the new normal.

What we look for in our scans is not just WHERE the stress is. It is HOW your system is responding to it. Are you adapting and recovering? Or are you accumulating?

Because those are two very different places to be, even when life looks exactly the same from the outside.

Push yourself. Do the hard thing. And every so often, we're able to take objective measures to ensure you're not only healing, but crushing bigger and better goals.

"Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect bringing a newborn into a chiropractic office. It felt a little out of the box. But my sister had done it with her kids and kept saying, just go. So we went.

Liam has been coming since he was four days old. He is now eight months old and I genuinely cannot tell you the last time we had a rough night. He sleeps, he eats, he poops on a schedule that would make a grown adult jealous. He is so happy!

What I notice most is how calm he seems in his body. His pediatrician even commented on how well his head shape has developed and how strong and symmetrical his movement is. He hit every milestone right on time, some a little early.

I don't know exactly how to explain what happens at each visit. I just know that something about getting his nervous system checked and adjusted regularly has been a part of why this whole first year has felt so manageable. We had friends whose babies struggled with colic and reflux for months, and I kept thinking, I wonder if this is why we haven't dealt with that.

We're definitely not going anywhere!"

This isn't about being a bad dad. It's about being a depleted one.πŸ’š

When a dad's nervous system is maxed out β€” running on chronic stress, poor sleep, and a body that's been ignored for years β€” it shows up everywhere.
In his patience.
In his presence.
In the way his kids experience him, even when he's standing right there. The nervous system controls everything.
How we respond under pressure. How much we have left to give at the end of the day. Whether we're actually in the room or just physically occupying it.

Dysregulation isn't a character flaw. It's a physiology problem. And it's one that chiropractic care directly addresses β€” helping shift the nervous system out of chronic fight-or-flight and back into a state where presence, patience, and connection are actually possible again.

Dads deserve support too. Tag a dad who needs to hear this. πŸ’™

If you've been doing all the work β€” the PT, the Pilates, the Kegels β€” and still feel disconnected from your core or pelvic floor, this is for you. πŸ’š

Your pelvic floor and your core aren't just muscular β€” they're neurological. They receive their signals directly from the nerve pathways running through your sacrum, lumbar spine, and thoracic spine. When those areas carry tension or restriction, the communication gets disrupted.
Your pelvic floor can't properly contract or release. Your core can't fully activate and no amount of targeted exercise will override a nervous system that isn't sending the right signals.

There's also a trio your body relies on to function together β€” your diaphragm, your psoas, and your pelvic floor. They move as a team with every single breath you take.

When your spine is restricted and your breathing mechanics are compromised, that rhythm breaks down β€” and your whole core system pays the price.

This is why chiropractic care β€” specifically to the lower spine and pelvis β€” can be the missing piece for so many women who feel like they've tried everything.

We live in a world that was designed to keep your nervous system switched on.

Constant notifications. Comparison at our fingertips. A to-do list that never ends. The pressure to perform, appear, and keep up all day, every day.

And here's what most people don't realize: your body is keeping score.

When stress becomes chronic, your autonomic nervous system can get stuck. Less time in "rest and recover," more time in "brace for impact." One of the ways we actually see this is through Heart Rate Variability (HRV), a measure of how adaptable and resilient your nervous system is at any given moment.

Low HRV doesn't mean you're broken. It means your system has been carrying a heavy load for a long time, often without you knowing it.
One thing we look for in that picture is subluxation, patterns of neurological interference that can keep your nervous system locked in a state of tension and stress response, even when life slows down.

Our INSiGHT scans let us measure those patterns. Not to alarm, but to understand. Because when we know where the interference is, we know where to start.

If you've been feeling wound up, worn down, or somewhere in between and you've been wondering if your nervous system is part of that picture, we'd love to start that conversation.

POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) = your autonomic nervous system malfunctioning and is controlled by your brainstem and upper cervical spine. πŸ’š

You stand up, heart races, dizziness hits, you might pass out. Your heart rate jumps 30+ beats just from standing.
This isn't anxiety, but autonomic nervous system dysfunction.

What you're living with: Dizziness when upright, rapid heartbeat, extreme fatigue, brain fog, exercise intolerance, nausea, temperature dysregulation, feeling like your body is constantly betraying you.

Did you know that your autonomic nervous system is controlled by your brainstem and upper cervical spine (C1-C2)?

When upper neck has tension or imbalance, it affects brainstem function, vagus nerve communication, blood flow to brain, autonomic regulation.

How upper cervical chiropractic helps POTS:
Upper cervical adjustments support brainstem function and vagus nerve. Improved blood flow to brain reduces dizziness/brain fog, nervous system regulation improves over time, and reduced spinal stress = less burden on already-struggling autonomic system.

Research shows: Some POTS patients experience reduced dizzy spells, improved exercise tolerance, better cognitive function, decreased heart rate fluctuations, improved quality of life with upper cervical care.

When we support that foundation, some patients find their body can regulate better.
You deserve support that addresses the nervous system foundation - not just symptom management. πŸ’š
