☀️ Kids don’t always realize they’re getting dehydrated.

During outdoor play, offer water regularly even before they say they’re thirsty. Add frequent shade breaks, lightweight clothing and a little extra supervision when temperatures climb.

Summer fun is better when everyone stays cool, hydrated and safe! 💧

Healthy habits begin with making rest a priority. 😴

Not getting enough sleep can lead to physical and mental health problems in teens. By making a plan together, you can help your teen sleep better.

We're at peak pool season, don't get lazy with policing your kids while they are swimming. Accidental drowning is a tragedy that doesn't have to happen. Stay alert when they are in the pool.

Remember, you won't hear them scream when they are under water.

With the heat this bad, this is very, very important to remember. No child, or animal left in any car EVER! Not even for a second! 

Tragically, a child died in a hot car over the Fourth of July weekend — it's the 10th such death so far this year and the 4th to happen in Florida in 2026. 💔

With extreme heat continuing across parts of the country, remind yourself to always check your backseat: Stop. Look. Lock. 🛑👁️🔒
