The proof is in the puppies! 🐾

We received this pupdate today for the breeding we had done on the 4th of July, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it! ❤️

This beautiful litter of 10 Great Dane puppies is a HUGE win for frozen semen and a great reminder of just how important precise timing and availability on weekends and holidays can be.

The semen used for this breeding was expected to thaw at approximately 72% motility, with a low number of abnormalities (under 10% abnormal)

Instead, it thawed at just 40–50% and our post thaw evaluation revealed significantly more abnormalities than were noted on the original report.

Not exactly the result we were hoping to see.

But the progesterone timing was spot on, and the outcome speaks for itself:

10 beautiful Great Dane puppies! 🐶

This is why successful frozen semen breeding isn't just about having a great semen analysis. It's about understanding the entire picture progesterone timing, ovulation, semen quality, insemination technique, and making the right decisions at the right time.

Because when the numbers aren't perfect, precision matters even more.
