Let me say something most people won't post:
A consultation is not an unnecessary step. It’s one of the most important parts of your treatment.
When you see a Nurse Practitioner for injectables or skincare, you should expect more than simply choosing a treatment from a menu. Your skin, anatomy, goals, lifestyle, and concerns are unique to YOU, and your treatment plan should be too.
What works beautifully for one person may not be the right choice for another. Sometimes the best treatment is not the one you originally came in asking for, and sometimes the safest, most effective answer is to wait or take a different approach.
A consultation allows your provider to assess your individual needs, educate you on your options, set realistic expectations, and create a plan that prioritizes your safety and your results.
So if you’re asked to schedule a consultation before your injections or skincare treatment, please know - it’s not a roadblock. It’s part of receiving quality, personalized care. 🤍
