Located in Grayson, Kentucky, Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation offers compassionate 24-hour Skilled Nursing care in our 60-bed facility. We listen, we understand, and develop personal therapy and care programs designed to maximize your abilities and life. This includes assisting with daily living activities and skills, such as balance training, medication management, IV therapy, and diabetes manage

ment. Should you need support services, know that we can arrange everything from mental health consultations to x-rays, lab work to podiatry services, as well as private home and hospice care.

Meet Carter Nursing & Rehab's Barketing Team! 🐕💙

Today is National Dog Day, and we’re introducing some of the four-legged family members of our amazing Care Team Members! These pups bring plenty of joy to the people who love them most.

Papoose is a sweet Yorkie-Poo, while Simba is a short-haired Shar-Pei. 🐾 Sam is a three-legged Goldendoodle who found his forever home through rescue. And Emmy Lou is getting ready to celebrate her first birthday on August 28! Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her best friend, Brantley.

We’re excited to highl our Barketing Team and let you meet the adorable personalities behind the paws. ✨

Back-to-School Giveaway! 📚🎒

We had so much fun spreading some back-to-school excitement in our community! One of our giveaway winners stopped by to pick up their backpack filled with school supplies after entering through our Facebook like, share, and comment giveaway.

We also loved surprising our Care Team Members with bags filled with school supplies to help kick off the new school year!

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us make this giveaway a success! ♥️ We hope these supplies help make the start of the school year a little brighter.

Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation is proud to share Carlos Tackett’s Success Story!

Carlos came to Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation on July 24 focused on recovery and rebuilding his strength after a spine and kidney infection. When he arrived, he needed significant support with mobility and was unable to get out of bed on his own. Determined to regain his independence, Carlos worked closely with our therapy team and committed himself to the rehabilitation process.

Through consistent effort and dedication, Carlos made tremendous progress. He regained the ability to get up independently, became more self-sufficient with his daily routines, and is now walking down the hallway with his walker. Along the way, he also experienced an improved appetite and renewed energy as his strength returned.

We are thrilled to celebrate Carlos as he prepares to discharge home, stronger, more confident, and ready for his next chapter. Congratulations to Carlos and his amazing care team on this wonderful achievement! 💙

Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation is proud to share Scotty’s Success Story!

Scotty came to Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation on June 22 following back surgery with a goal of rebuilding his strength and returning home. Throughout his rehabilitation journey, he worked closely with our therapy team and remained committed to making progress each day.

Through dedication and hard work, Scotty achieved meaningful improvements in his mobility, balance, and overall independence. He is now transferring more easily, demonstrating improved standing balance, and walking longer distances with greater confidence.

We are excited to share that Scotty is discharging home and beginning his next chapter. He shared that he was happy with the care he received and appreciated the support and kindness shown by our team throughout his stay.

Congratulations to Scotty and his amazing care team on this wonderful achievement! 💙
