Rosewood Miracle Workers AKTION Club is celebrating 250 Years of the Amazing United States of America by decorating our Party-In-The-Park float with all the colors of Stars and Stripes. We hope to see you at Saturday’s Great Bend Kiwanis Club Wet/Dry Parade that starts at 10 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park.

Rosewood Miracle Workers AKTION Club held a BIG GARAGE SALE on Saturday, July 25 in downtown Great Bend, behind Rosewood Bargain Barn. Thank you to all who participated to help make our event a success! Thank you for making a difference.

Proceeds raised from our BIG GARAGE SALE will go toward helping our Club sponsor service projects and activities in our community.

Ahead of the crazy heat, a few of our Gallery workers soaked up a perfect summer day last week (7‑23) during a walk in downtown Great Bend. Sunshine, fresh air, and good energy help make for a productive day. 💪

Several members of our Rosewood Adventure Team sought knowledge of the world by visiting the Museum of World Treasures in Wichita on July 9. They discovered Prehistoric and Fossil Galleries, along with Sea Creatures of the Plains to Ancient Rome, Greece, Egypt and Asia, to viewing American war relics. … And so much more!!!

A great time was had by our World Travelers.

Rosewood Services Adventurers visited the Shafer Memorial Gallery at Barton Community College on June 25. Two Rosewood groups, - one in the morning and another in the afternoon - toured the current traveling quilt exhibit, “Fierce Planets.” They also experienced amazing western art created by Hoisington native Gus Shafer.

Rosewood Miracle Workers AKTION Club is setting up behind Rosewood Bargain Barn, located in the Northeast Parking Lot of Williams and 12th Street. We have bikes, books, décor, and other surprise finds. Swing by and score something great!

July 25: 8 AM – 2 PM • Location: Northeast Parking Lot on corner of Williams and 12th Street.

Nineteen members of Rosewood Miracle Workers ACKTON Club, along with two sponsors and three volunteers, participated in the Self Advocate Coalition of Kansas Conference, June 19-21, in Manhattan. As you can tell by the photos, they had a BLAST! This year’s theme for SACK Conference was “Let's G.R.O.W.”
