September is Su***de Prevention Month. 💜

Sometimes the most important thing we can do is remind someone that they don’t have to carry everything alone.

Check on your people.
Listen without judgment.
Ask the hard question.
And please — reach out when you need someone, too.

There is help. There is hope. And there are people ready to listen.
Need support now?

📱 Call or text 988 — the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7, free and confidential.

💬 You can also chat through the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.
This September — and every month — you matter. Your story matters. And asking for help matters. 💜

Fentanyl is extremely potent and often hidden in the drug supply. That reality is heavy—and it’s why practical care matters.

Naloxone can reverse an overdose. Test strips can detect fentanyl. Showing up without judgment creates space for people to stay alive long enough for recovery to be possible.

Harm reduction and hope are not in conflict. They work together.

One of the most overlooked parts of building resilience is self-compassion.
When we mess up, fall short, or have a hard day, it’s easy to go straight to self-criticism. But research (and real life) shows that kindness toward ourselves actually helps us bounce back faster and stay motivated longer.

Try this simple shift:
Instead of “I should be handling this better,”
try “This is hard, and I’m doing the best I can right now.”

That little bit of grace creates space for growth instead of shame.
You’re allowed to be a work in progress.
You’re allowed to need support.
You’re allowed to rest and still be resilient.

Resilience isn’t a personality trait you’re either born with or not.
It’s a set of skills you can practice — even on the days you feel like you’re barely holding it together.

Some days resilience looks like:
• Getting out of bed when everything feels heavy
• Asking for help instead of white-knuckling it alone
• Taking a five-minute break instead of pushing through
• Choosing not to spiral over something you can’t change
It doesn’t have to look impressive. It just has to be honest.
What’s one small way you’re practicing resilience this week?
