Welcome to our newest addition in our Missoula office, Taylor Kapfer!
Taylor is a Professional Counselor Licensure Candidate (PCLC) who is passionate about providing compassionate, client-centered care to individuals of all ages. While she continues to work toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), she is committed to developing her counselor identity that is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and evidence-based care. Taylor believes that everyone has the power within themselves to reach their goals once they feel enough safety, support, and empowerment.
Taylor earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology along with minors in Human Development, Sociology, and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Montana State University. She went on to earn her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Montana, where she developed a passion for working with individuals with eating disorders. Taylor completed her internship at the YWCA and had the opportunity to support clients who had experienced domestic and sexual violence using a trauma-informed lens.
When Taylor is out of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, skiing, and hanging out with her dog. She recognizes that these things fill up her cup and rejuvenate her to come back to the office, ready to show up for you.
