The woman on the right is me a few years ago. The woman on the left is me at 65.
For a long time, I didn't feel like myself anymore. Tired. Frustrated with my body. And every time I brought it up, I heard the same thing: "That's just part of getting older."
I want you to hear this from somebody who's lived it: it doesn't have to be.
Over time I lost 35 pounds. But here's the part nobody warned me about ā when the weight came off, some of my muscle went with it. I was smaller, but I wasn't stronger. Getting down on the floor with my grandbabies was fine. Getting back up? That was the wake-up call.
So now I'm rebuilding. Protein first. Strength training. Sleep like it matters, because it does. At 65, I'm not chasing smaller. I'm chasing stronger ā strong enough to lift the suitcase, take the trip, and keep up with seven grandbabies.
If you're somewhere in the middle of your own story, you're in the right place. Tell me ā where are you right now: just starting, in the middle, or rebuilding like me?
