A child entering foster care is already facing enough change.

Without local foster families, children may be placed far from their school, friends, activities, and support systems—adding even more loss during a difficult time.

You can help keep a child connected to the people and places that bring comfort and stability. The need for local foster families is urgent. Could you be the reason a child stays close to home?

We’d love to talk and answer your questions. Contact Collin, Statewide Foster Care Recruiting Manager:

June is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Month💙

During PTSD Awareness Month, we're helping break down common myths and sharing facts that can reduce stigma, increase understanding, and encourage healing.

PTSD can affect people of all ages and backgrounds. With the right support, and resources, recovery is possible.

If you or someone you know is in need of professional help, don't hesitate to call our client engagement team at 920-437-8256 to schedule an appointment.

Right now, children in our community need foster families who can keep them connected to their schools, friends, siblings, and support systems during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

When local families step forward, children experience less disruption, more stability, and a greater sense of belonging. The need is urgent. One caring family can change the course of a child’s story.

Curious about fostering or ready to take the next step? We’d love to talk and answer your questions.

June is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Month💙

Managing PTSD symptoms can be challenging. When we notice our body’s stress response becoming activated, there are some coping skills that may help ourselves feel more grounded, safe, and in control.

Below are some strategies:
1. Using 5 senses for grounding
2. Belly breathing
3. Physical anchoring
4. Stay connected

If you or someone you know is in need of professional help, don't hesitate to call our client engagement team at 920-437-8256 to schedule an appointment💙
