Today, we celebrate the many ways fathers and father figures share their love, wisdom, strength, and care with others. From dads and grandpas to stepdads, adoptive and foster fathers, mentors, and all those who guide and support others with kindness — today is for you.

We also hold close those who may be carrying grief, missing someone they love, navigating complicated relationships, longing to become fathers, or simply needing a little extra support today.

No matter what this day looks like for you, we hope you are reminded that you are seen, valued, and deeply loved. In the quiet sacrifices, steady presence, and unconditional love shown by fathers, we catch a glimpse of the faithful love of our Heavenly Father, who walks beside us and calls each of us His beloved children.

Rhubarb season is officially here, and our Friends are not complaining! ☀️🥧💚

This week, the kitchen was filled with the sweet taste (and smell!) of summer as our residents enjoyed homemade rhubarb cream pie made from a treasured family recipe passed down from Diane's mother.

A huge thank you to Diane and Sister Dorothy, who baked an incredible 15 rhubarb cream pies for everyone to enjoy! The pies were a hit, and with every slice came stories of backyard gardens, family gatherings, favorite recipes, and summers gone by.

There’s something special about sharing food that brings back memories and sparks conversation. It's moments like these that turn an ordinary lunch into something unforgettable.

Here's to rhubarb season, homemade pie, and the simple joys that make summer so sweet! ❤️🥧☀️

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage and sacrifice made so many of the freedoms we cherish possible. 🇺🇸

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day weekend, may we also take a moment to reflect with gratitude for those who served and never made it home.
