📖💙 At AristaCare at Greenbrook, person-centered care is at the heart of everything we do. Recently, our team created a personalized Memory Book filled with nostalgic images, classic artists, trivia, and conversation starters to help residents living with dementia reconnect with cherished memories.

For one resident in particular, this simple tool has made a big impact; encouraging conversation, sparking memories, and creating meaningful moments with staff. Seeing him become more engaged and eager to share stories from his past has been truly rewarding.

Sometimes the smallest things can make the biggest difference. 💙

🥞☕🎉 Breakfast, Bingo & Great Company! 🎉☕🥞

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming community members and local seniors to our in-house Breakfast & Bingo event at our facility!

Guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast, exciting rounds of bingo, and plenty of laughter while competing for fun prizes. Most importantly, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends, neighbors, and members of our community.

The response was so positive that we’re excited to continue making Breakfast & Bingo a regular event!

After a femur fracture and significant mobility challenges, Wardell came to us needing extensive assistance with daily activities and transfers. Through determination and the support of our dedicated rehab team, she made incredible progress and was able to return home with greater independence.

🍫🍦 National Chocolate Ice Cream Day Celebration! 🍦🍫

In honor of National Chocolate Ice Cream Day, we rolled out the AristaCare Ice Cream Cart and treated our residents and staff to a sweet afternoon surprise! 😋

There’s nothing like a scoop of chocolate ice cream to bring people together, spark conversations, and create smiles throughout the building. The cart was a big hit, and everyone enjoyed taking a break to indulge in a classic favorite.

Life is a little sweeter with ice cream—and even sweeter when shared with friends. 💙
