A moment for you tonight.

Making yourself a priority is imperative. Without a physically, emotionally, and mentally ready self you cannot help anyone else. Not even yourself.

Fill your cup tonight with a class that allows you to focus your intention on quieting the mind and the body.

A slow practice that lets you settle into poses for several minutes all while supporting yourself with props. You choose how much or how little you go tonight and as always we will end with a little extra integration time in svasana.

Join me Thursday evenings throughout June for a 90 minute vinyasa flow.

Together we will explore movement, breath, yoga, traditions, mindful challenge, and whatever beautiful mess arrives with us that evening. There are no expectations to arrive feeling centered, flexible, calm, or ready. We simply begin where we are.

Each class concludes with time to soften and integrate through meditation, stillness, and extended svasana.

Tonight’s practice will revolve around finding our center–exploring what it means to connect physically to our core while turning inward toward the steadier place beneath the noise, distractions, and demands of daily life.

All levels are welcome.

Come as you are.

Let this practice be whatever it is you need it to be.

Soma means body.

Here separate from the spirit and mind.

When was the last time you acknowledged you even have a body aside from being angry with it?

In this day and age where we have so much happening each and every day. We are surrounded by technology at work and at home. Often, work comes home with us not only in the mind, but in our technology that we are glued to. It’s an interesting time to be existing on this planet and in our country.

Our body is truly magical. It keeps going without us having to consciously run it. It also takes the brunt of everything we do, see, and experience. It holds everything we ask it to.

We have mastered being solid. Stuffing, stuffing, stuffing, and continuing on. Getting through our day living from the neck up.

Somatic yoga slows us down. It invites us to be present with our body. It invites us to be present in the now. Although we do make some shapes with our bodies, it’s not about being flexible or making perfect shapes.

It’s about learning to listen to your body, to trust in yourself in that listening, and learning to move, breathe, and be with your body.

I lead the class by giving suggestions and you decide how to participate.

It really is way more that what can be said in a post. It is an experience.

This extended class allows for complete systematic exploration
that covers almost every part of the body, including muscles, joints and organs
while fostering mental focus and relaxation.

Class ends with longer svasana time providing extra time to relax and integrate.

Moving the body and the mind from stress mode to repair mode.

Yoga for every body.
