3 main muscle fix for a muscle spasm in under 5 mins. ‼️ Watch till the end to see his results. 🐎 Horses are notorious for hiding soreness or discomfort. Being able to keep their muscles loose & feeling their best is key for horses in work.

*** Equine Massage Therapist cannot take the place of a vet. In this video, I knew I would be able to help him & if needed would call my vet if spasms became more severe.

Massage & Chiropractors do two different functions. If your horse is dealing with stiffness, muscular tension, or you’re looking for ongoing conditioning/recovery support you might want to call a massage therapist. If your horse is having mobility problems or has obvious restriction in the musculoskeletal system you might want to call a chiropractor.

🗝️ Knowing the difference is key in helping your horse feel their best. I am certified in pressure point equine massage therapy, which is a hands-on bodywork where I apply pressure to specific areas of a horse’s muscles and soft tissue to reduce muscle tension, improve relaxation, and encourage normal movement. 🧍 It’s similar to trigger-point in humans. This method is not just a “feel good” massage… it helps to fix issues within the muscular system.

🤔 Did you know that hands-on manipulation of the muscle tissue & fascia offers meaningful health advantages?

Benefits of massage for your livestock friends can improve:
✔️Physical condition
✔️Enhance mobility
✔️Reduce stress & touch sensitivity

This practice is not highly common for livestock, but it has so many benefits for show stock and/or your breeding stock at home. I have seen the advantages within my own herd.

🤔 Did you know that equine massage can help your horse even on hot days. Specific ways massage is highly beneficial during hot weather includes:

~ Aids in lymphatic drainage
~ Faster cool downs, aiding in flushing out metabolic waste
~ Gentle muscle preparation, warms up muscles without heavy physical exertion
~ Mental Relaxation, to help settle a hot, moody, or uncomfortable horse

‼️ Massage naturally raises body warmth. During periods of extreme heat, I will be flexible on scheduling for cooler hours in the day. As well as, recommending more Half Massages, until temperatures cool off.
