Good Catch Winner, Tara Erickson! 🏆

While preparing mammography paperwork, Tara noticed a patient had been scheduled one month too early for a screening mammogram. By catching this ahead of time and reaching out to the patient, she helped prevent an unnecessary out-of-pocket expense and ensured the exam was scheduled at the appropriate time.

A great example of how attention to detail and proactive follow-up make a real difference for our patients.

Adair County Health System Welcomes Casey Howe, PA-C to Orthopedic Care Team

Adair County Health System is proud to welcome Casey Howe to its growing orthopedic and outpatient clinic team. Casey specializes in knee and hip injuries with a focus on total joint reconstruction, bringing both extensive clinical experience and a personal passion for helping patients regain mobility and return to the activities they love.

As a Physician Assistant, Casey works closely with patients to evaluate orthopedic conditions, develop treatment plans, and guide them through their care journey. While he does not perform surgical procedures, he specializes in helping patients manage joint pain, arthritis, sports injuries, and other orthopedic concerns through comprehensive evaluation, education, and non-surgical treatment options. When surgery is needed, Casey collaborates closely with orthopedic surgeons to ensure patients receive seamless, high-quality care.
