I will never beg for anything again.

I’ve begged for love.
I’ve begged for acceptance.
I’ve begged for forgiveness.

I’ve begged for drugs, money, clothes, food, and even safety.

I’ve spent too much of my life believing I had to plead for things that should have been freely given or that I was capable of providing for myself.

Not anymore.

If I have to beg for your love, I don’t want it.
If I have to beg for your respect, keep it.
If I have to beg for your presence, I’ll learn to enjoy your absence.

I’ve survived too much to keep chasing what doesn’t want to stay.

From now on, I’ll work for what I need, pray for what I can’t control, and trust that what’s meant for me won’t require me to beg for it.

Never again… one day at a time 💕

To everyone else, it’s just a little wildflower.

To me, it’s a reminder that the biggest love often comes in the smallest hands and the simplest gestures.
