It’s called balance.

One of us spirals. The other brings snacks, reminds us we’re not actually ruining our entire life, and talks us off the ledge.
Then we trade.

Take turns falling apart. It’s just good teamwork. 🫠

Making friends after 35 is a strange experience.
It’s like every time there’s an opportunity your brain (and your social anxiety) keeps whispering, “Don’t worry... I’ll make this weird.”

If you’ve ever prayed for good friends while simultaneously hoping no one asks you to introduce yourself... you’re not the only one.
You genuinely want people to do life with.
You just don’t want to accidentally overshare, forget how introductions work, or spend the drive home replaying everything you said.

We get it. And we have good news:
If it gets awkward, it’s not usually as bad as your brain is telling you it will be. The right people don’t need a polished version of you—they need the real one.

Maybe community doesn’t always look like finding “your tribe” overnight. Maybe it’s one conversation. One coffee. One person you keep showing up for.
Some friends are for a season. Some become lifelong family. And some relationships become meaningful simply because someone was willing to keep investing before it felt effortless.

So if making friends still feels a little clunky... welcome to the club.
Turns out, a lot of us are just awkward people looking for other awkward people to do life with. 🤍

Have you ever looked around and wondered if everyone else somehow got the handbook for adulthood... except you?

You’re not the only one.

That’s one of the things we love most about Autumn. She has a way of helping people feel less alone in the middle of life’s transitions, uncertainty, and “I have no idea what I’m doing” moments.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, a major life change, or just feeling stuck, Autumn creates a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out before you walk through the door. She’ll meet you with warmth, curiosity, and practical support as you work toward the life you want.
And if your faith is an important part of your story, she’s happy to thoughtfully integrate it into your care—always at your comfort level.

We’re genuinely so excited to have Autumn on our team. We think you’re going to love her as much as we do. 🤍

Autumn is now accepting new clients for in-person sessions in Cary and virtually across North Carolina. Head to our website or the link in our bio to learn more or schedule a free phone consultation.
