đź’š July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month.
Mental health is an essential part of overall health, yet too many individuals and families continue to face barriers to care because of stigma, limited access, cultural differences, and systemic inequities.
At Simone Cares Center for Health Equity, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their best possible health—and that includes mental health.
Creating healthier communities begins with education, compassion, and conversation. It begins by checking in with ourselves, supporting one another, and reminding those who are struggling that they are not alone.
This month, we encourage you to:
đź’š Check in with yourself.
đź’š Reach out to someone you care about.
đź’š Help normalize conversations about mental health.
đź’š Encourage those in need to seek support.
Together, we can build communities where mental health is valued, support is accessible, and every person is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Advancing health equity through education, advocacy, and community partnerships—because everyone deserves the opportunity to live well.
