Staying active is important at every stage of life, and our residents proved that movement truly matters! Physical activity helps improve strength, balance, heart health, mood, and overall quality of life — and most importantly, it keeps us engaged in the things we love.
Congratulations to all participants in our 8-week Kintura Fitness Challenge! Residents across our Kintura communities embraced the challenge by logging miles through cardio workouts, fitness classes, walking, gardening, and more as they worked toward a shared goal of health and wellness.
We are especially proud to congratulate our Friends Homes top participants, Nancy and Rod! And an even bigger congratulations goes to Nancy for earning the overall top female spot for miles completed during the entire challenge! What an incredible accomplishment!
No matter how many miles each participant accumulated, everyone who chose to get up, get moving, and prioritize their health was a winner. Thank you to our sister communities for joining together in this wonderful celebration of fitness, wellness, and healthy aging!
