Hale County Hospital is proud to recognize six graduating seniors from Greensboro High School who successfully completed the CLIMB (Community Leaders in Medicine & Beyond) program during the 2025–2026 school year. 🎓
As part of our continued investment in workforce development and the future of rural healthcare, each student received a $250 scholarship from Hale County Hospital in recognition of their leadership, service, and commitment to the community.
CLIMB is a collaborative partnership between Hale County Hospital, Project Horseshoe Farm, and Greensboro High School designed to introduce students to healthcare careers, leadership development, mentorship, and community service opportunities right here in Hale County.
Throughout the year, these students participated in hands-on learning experiences, leadership activities, mentorship opportunities, and service projects focused on improving the health and well-being of our community.
“We are incredibly proud of these students and all they have accomplished,” said Hale County Hospital CEO Shay Cherry. “Programs like CLIMB are about investing in the future of our community. We hope these students will continue pursuing their education and leadership goals while always remembering there is a place for them here at home, serving and strengthening rural healthcare in Hale County.”
