Saturday was the perfect blend of inspiration and sweet treats! We enjoyed exploring the Black Quilters In The American South exhibit at the Weatherspoon Art Museum, where we learned how generations of Black quilters have preserved history, celebrated culture, and shared powerful stories through the art of quilting. We ended the afternoon with a delicious stop at Yum Yum Better Ice Cream, making it a day full of smiles and lasting memories. 🍦❤️

We're still going strong with our "Our Home State" Theme Days! 🌊⚓ This month, we explored the beautiful lighthouses of North Carolina's coast! Residents enjoyed an informative presentation about some of our state's most iconic lighthouses, followed by a delicious menu inspired by Our State magazine featuring BBQ chicken sliders, veal piccata meatballs, and chocolate cream pie. To top it all off, we were treated to beautiful piano selections inspired by our lighthouse theme, performed by the incredibly talented Angelita Berdiales from the Music Academy. It was another wonderful day of learning, music, great food, and fellowship! ❤️
