We're sharing some great advice from our colleagues at the ACAAI. Back to school time is quickly approaching. It's time to plan ahead! Will you need a form filled out when your child return's to school? Many schools require authorization forms completed for medications and for epi-pens. Please request these forms as soon as possible to avoid the back-to-school rush! Call our office at 336-282-2300, if you need forms or you need an appointment.

Summer's in full swing, but school will be back in session before you know it. The allergists of the ACAAI Social Media Subcommittee have great tips to help you get your kids with allergies and asthma prepared for the school days ahead.

We will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of the Independence Day Holiday. Our Greensboro shot clinic will be open today until 6:00 and our Burlington shot clinic will be open today until 5:00. As always, please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to close. If possible come early today, as we expect to be busier due to the Holiday!

Our Greensboro shot clinic will be closing early at 5:00 tonight, Tuesday, 5/5/2026 so that we can celebrate our staff at our Employee Appreciation event with the Greensboro Grasshoppers!

All offices will be closed on Friday, April 3rd for the Easter Holiday.

For patients needing their allergy shots today our walk-in allergy shot clinic hours will be:

Greensboro Shot Clinic will close at 6:00
Burlington Shot Clinic will close at 5:00
*Arrive at least 10 minutes prior.

Both offices will be open on Monday, 4/6/2026. As a reminder, our Burlington office now offers walk-in allergy shots on Monday, in addition to our Greensboro office.

Our Burlington office will also be open for scheduled physician appointments on Wednesdays. We will not have walk-in allergy shots available on Wednesdays until a later date.

Allergy Season Ahead..... Are You Ready?

We want to send a friendly reminder to our patients that Spring is near! Now is the time to schedule your routine follow up or new patient allergy testing appointment.

If you are experiencing new allergy related symptoms, find that your symptoms worsen during the Spring, or may need refills on your allergy medications soon, please make sure you have been seen by our office within the last year.

If you are interested in re-starting your immunotherapy injections and have not visited our shot clinic in over two months we will need to review your records and determine if you need more serum made prior to coming in for injections. Serum may take up to three weeks to prepare.

If you are a new patient or interested in allergy testing, we would be glad to help! We have current openings for new patients in both our Burlington and Greensboro offices. Keep in mind that patients need to be off antihistamines for 3-5 days prior to the testing appointment.

Please call our office at (336)282-2300 or (336) 227-1901 to schedule an appointment or to let our staff know if you you would like your records reviewed in order to re-start your immunotherapy injections.
