Both Greensboro and Winston-Salem have CIT trained officers. If you need to call the police for an emergency that involves substances or mental health issues; ask them to send a CIT officer if they can. And remember, we are here if you or a loved one need help with substance use.

Medetomidine, a veterinary sedative, mixed into fentanyl has sent thousands to hospitals, not only for overdose but for life-threatening withdrawal. It is spreading to other cities.
