Big news! The Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute Moonshot initiative is celebrating its fifth anniversary and over 11,000 enrolled patients — a huge milestone in personalized cancer care. 🧬

This program collects blood and tissue samples from newly diagnosed cancer patients across 21 AHN locations, tracking DNA biomarkers to better predict therapy responses and outcomes.

Meet Tank, AHN's first therapy dog to receive a BEE Award!🐶 Tank and his owner, Joyce, have given more than 1,050 hours to support patients and staff across Forbes Cancer Institute, Forbes Hospital and Hempfield Cancer Institute. Their visits bring comfort, calm and a reason to smile.

We recently celebrated Tank with a special ceremony alongside some of the patients and team members whose days he’s brightened. Thank you, Tank and Joyce, for making care feel a little warmer. 💛
