🏠 TOMORROW, WE WELCOME YOU INTO OUR HOME

For the past several weeks, we've had so much fun looking back at 55 years of Pantalone Funeral Home—sharing old photographs, newspaper clippings, memories of my dad, renovations, and some of the stories behind this remarkable old house.

But tomorrow, instead of showing you pictures, we get to show you the real thing.

For most people, this is Pantalone Funeral Home. For our family, it has always been something more. It is home.

I grew up here with my siblings. Melanie and I raised our family here. We've celebrated holidays here, worked on countless projects here, laughed here, cried here, and for 55 years our family has had the privilege of welcoming families through these doors during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Tomorrow, we're opening even more of those doors.

You'll be able to tour areas of our home that aren't normally open to the public, see some of its beautiful original features, hear stories about its history, and maybe finally answer the question we've heard so many times over the years:

“What does the rest of the house look like?” 😊

There has been a lot of cleaning, painting, window washing and preparation going on around here—and Melanie has certainly kept me on task! But tomorrow, the work stops and the fun begins.

On behalf of Melanie, our family, and our entire staff, thank you for allowing us to be part of this community for 55 years.

🏠 ONE LAST LOOK... BEFORE WE OPEN THE DOORS

Over the past several weeks, we've shared photographs, newspaper clippings, family memories, renovations and stories from the 55-year history of Pantalone Funeral Home.

Tonight, we'll simply let some of the details of this remarkable old home speak for themselves.

Some are easy to see. Others you could walk past a hundred times without noticing.

After living here most of my life, I still find myself noticing things I hadn't really appreciated before.

120 years of history.

And for our family, always home. ❤️

🏠 55 Years: A Look Back

THE DETAILS OF HOME

Sometimes the most interesting parts of an old home are found in the smallest details.

Built in 1906 by Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, our home is filled with remarkable craftsmanship—from intricate carved woodwork and massive columns to decorative hardware and elaborate details on the exterior of the house.

As we've been getting ready for Saturday's Open House, I've found myself stopping and looking more closely at things I've walked past thousands of times over the years.

Growing up here, these details were simply part of “home.” Today, I have a much greater appreciation for the craftsmanship that went into creating a house that has now stood for 120 years.

Saturday, you'll have the opportunity to see many of these details for yourself—and probably a few things you've never noticed before.

🏆 THREE YEARS IN A ROW! 🏆

We are incredibly proud and humbled to announce that the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. has once again earned the 2026 National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Pursuit of Excellence Award—our third consecutive year receiving this national honor! 🏆

For more than 45 years, the NFDA Pursuit of Excellence Award has recognized funeral homes that demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, innovation and service. This year, we are honored to be among just 301 funeral home locations worldwide to receive this recognition.

Receiving this award is especially meaningful as we celebrate our 55th anniversary. When my father opened the funeral home in 1971, he established a commitment to caring for families with compassion, dignity and personal attention. Fifty-five years later, we remain committed to those same values while continuing to grow, improve and find new ways to serve.

An award like this is never the accomplishment of one person. To my wife, Melanie, and our entire staff—thank you. Your dedication, compassion and willingness to go the extra mile for the families we serve make recognition like this possible.

Most importantly, thank you to the families who have placed their trust in us and to our community for supporting our family for the past 55 years. We never take that trust for granted.

We are extremely proud of this recognition, but even more grateful for the privilege of continuing to serve.
