Make your bed!

A part of a principled recovery can start with the basics. How many times were we told to make our bed as a kid? Why was that?

Beginning our day with the simplest of tasks becomes the building blocks for order to replace chaos.

From there, we do our hygiene - dress ourselves right, brush our teeth, add makeup, and/or style our hair (if you have some).

This lends to cleaning out the litter box, sweeping the floor, or taking out the trash.

Now we have the necessary order that frees us to make the next right decision.

As winter persists, we can be challenged to keep our head. Keeping the small things manageable is large step to meeting the goals we have for our recovery.
