Members of Redstone’s leadership team participated in Rally Day at the PA Capitol this week. Coordinated by LeadingAge PA, LeadingAge PA members, providers, seniors, and bipartisan lawmakers called for urgent action to address Pennsylvania’s growing senior care crisis.

We’re losing nursing home capacity by the thousands; fewer communities, fewer beds, and most importantly, more older adults are being turned away from the high-quality care they need and deserve close to home. Congratulations to the second group of graduates from Redstone’s Nurse Aide Training Program!

In partnership with Health Ventures Alliance (HVA), and led by Redstone instructors Holly Reese, RN (Supervisor Instructor), and Dori Webb, LPN (Teaching Instructor), five dedicated individuals have successfully completed the program and earned their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

This achievement reflects not only their hard work and dedication, but also Redstone’s core value of lifelong learning—continuing to grow, develop skills, and pursue excellence in care throughout every stage of a career!

We are proud to recognize their hard work, commitment, and compassion throughout the learning experience. As they move forward in their careers, we celebrate this important milestone and look forward to the positive impact they will make in providing quality care to those they serve.

A reminder that this month's Parkinson's Support Group meeting will move to Tuesday instead of Monday due to the holiday. Patients and caregivers of those living with Parkinsons are welcome to join us at 1:30 pm in the Clubhouse in the Villa Community on our North Huntingdon campus on Tuesday, May 26th. 772 Frontier Drive, North Huntingdon. This month's meeting will not feature a speaker but offers an opportunity to share updates, ask questions, and find support with fellow patients. We hope to see you there!
