Being aware of your internal dialogue or narrative is very important. How we speak about ourselves to ourselves or others is a quick look into areas we are struggle with. If the narrative is negative or unkind- where is this coming from? Do you have facts to supports this narrative (the answer is NO).

Throughout this week try and say kinder things to yourself.
-wow I handled that situation well
-I’m proud I set that boundary
-damn, I look great today

I hope you all feel ✨accomplished✨ after last week’s journal.
We don’t realize how unkind we speak to ourselves on a daily basis and rarely be our own cheerleader.

For this week try and keep a daily log of kind words you can use to describe yourself. Try your best to not repeat these words. Google is a handy tool to learn beautiful words to describe your beautiful self.

Words I will use tonight are: determined, resilient, solid, empathic, & silly.

Here is week 1 of the journal challenge! This may seem like an easy journal but what really makes this a challenge is how you hold yourself accountable to accomplish your accomplishments.

Accomplishments can look like spending an hour less on your phone, making dinner at home throughout the week, or sticking with this journal.

Every evening reflect on how well you’re doing with your accomplishments. Even if it wasn’t 100% give yourself praise and start again tomorrow.

Going to start a new series. Every Sunday Night I will upload a new journal prompt. Think about it, write about it, act upon it, talk about it throughout the week. Share it in therapy, share it with your loved ones, heck share it with your pets. Make sure to reflect on how the prompt made you feel and what it was like to act upon it throughout your week. Enjoy this little thing you are going to give to yourself!
