Nothing compares to hearing and feeling the rumble of a motorcycle formation. It's calming. It's freeing. It's belonging. It's home.
Our Patriot Saturday Brunch Live a Dream was a day we will not forget. Gary, a veteran of the United States Army, had a dream of gathering the community to celebrate our freedoms we have thanks to our brave military men and women and our men and women in public service. The day began with a flag ceremony performed by the American Legion Post 129 followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, a passage from a fellow veteran, and the National Anthem. A lunch of BBQ ribs, pulled pork, hot dogs, and all the yummy sides followed while Rich Bryant filled the air with music. Remote control cars zipped by as corn hole bags smacked the boards. Families were able to enjoy popcorn and cotton candy, get their faces painted and USA tattoos done, and admire all of the bikes, cars, and the Greensburg Fire truck in the show. Gary helped plan everything, so of course, we had to have a surprise up our sleeves. Gary used to attend the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and has shared fond stories of his times there, and of his motocycle riding days, with staff. So we put out a call to ride! They rallied in true biker community fashion and helped us end the festivities with a surprise group ride for Gary!
We can't thank everyone enough for coming out and making the day grand!
