At Arete Health & Wellness, LLC, we believe that health is about so much more than exercise and nutrition. One of the most overlooked pillars of wellness is social connection.
That’s one of the reasons we joined Mad Miles.
Running has always been a source of peace for us. It’s where we clear our minds, manage stress, and reconnect with ourselves. But we also knew we wanted to connect with people who value movement, encouragement, and living a healthier lifestyle.
What we found at Mad Miles was more than a running group—we found a community that feels like family.
Even as new members, we’ve been welcomed with open arms. We gladly drive two hours to participate because the positive energy, encouragement, and sense of belonging are worth every mile.
As health and wellness professionals, we’re inspired to watch people of all fitness levels come together to support one another and make healthier lifestyle choices. Mad Miles is creating more than runners—it’s building a healthier, stronger community.
In today’s world, many people are struggling with loneliness and isolation. We often convince ourselves that we have to do everything alone, but the truth is, we were created for connection. Whether it’s going for a run, joining a club, volunteering, or simply spending time with others, meaningful relationships are just as important to our health as regular exercise, quality sleep, and good nutrition.
At Arete Health & Wellness, LLC, we encourage everyone to find their community. Your wellness journey doesn’t have to be a solo journey. Connection builds resilience, improves mental well-being, reduces stress, and reminds us that we don’t have to face life’s challenges alone.
Thank you, , for creating a space where people can move together, grow together, and thrive together. Thank you for inspiring our city to choose health, build relationships, and prove that every mile is better when it’s shared.
Let’s continue choosing connection over isolation, community over loneliness, and health over excuses. Together, we can build stronger relationships, healthier communities, and fuller lives—because we’re better together.
